This job involved installing a Starlink dish at a private home in Lubumbashi. As the property had multiple floors, the project involved installing the dish on the roof and ensuring good distribution of the Internet connection throughout the house.
The Starlink dish was installed on the roof to provide a location suited to signal reception. The connection was then routed into the home and the router activated.
The main challenge was Wi-Fi coverage. The house’s layout and multiple floors made repeaters necessary to extend the network effectively. These were installed and configured in areas that needed better coverage.
Different points in the house were then checked for connection availability. The installation and network extension were completed successfully, giving the customer more evenly distributed Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home.
