Our commitment
We aim to limit collection to useful information, explain how it is used and protect access to it. This policy applies to nzimgroup.com and its forms.
Data controller
NZIM GROUP operates nzimgroup.com and determines the purposes of processing carried out directly through its forms.
Data that may be collected
The information processed depends on how you use the website.
Contact form
Name, email address, telephone number, message and the page from which the request is sent.
Newsletter
Email address and other information you choose to enter in the Brevo form.
Technical data
The server and integrated services may record the IP address, browser, device, date and time of requests to ensure their operation and security.
Local preferences
Your choice of light or dark theme and the page to restore after subscribing to the newsletter may be saved in your browser.
Why we use this information
- To respond to your questions and quote requests.
- To follow up on discussions and projects.
- To send the newsletter after you subscribe and manage your unsubscription.
- To remember your display preference.
- To prevent abuse, diagnose errors and protect the website.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it for the future. Voluntarily submitting a form constitutes a request to process the information necessary to respond to you.
Third-party services used
NZIM GROUP assistant — optional AI mode
Local responses remain available without calling an AI API. If you enable AI mode, your question and part of your recent conversation are sent to OpenAI to prepare the response. Avoid including personal or confidential information. Common email addresses and telephone numbers are automatically masked before sending, but this does not guarantee anonymisation of the entire text.
Conversation history is kept only in the tab’s memory, without being saved in the browser’s local storage. You can clear it with ‘New conversation’; reloading also clears it. The assistant server does not retain conversation content. It maintains technical request counters to limit abuse. Responses are requested with storage disabled; however, the provider’s retention and abuse-monitoring rules may still apply.
Quote preparation remains local. Contact details are requested in the existing quote form, and the request is sent only after you approve that form. Prices, deadlines and commitments must be confirmed by our team.
Some features rely on external services. They process the information needed to provide their services in accordance with their own policies.

Retention period
Data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, then deleted or archived if a legal obligation justifies doing so.
- Contact requests are retained for the time needed to respond and follow up on the exchange.
- Newsletter data is retained until unsubscription, withdrawal of consent or deletion in accordance with the rules of the service used.
- Local preferences remain in the browser until changed or deleted.
- Technical logs are retained according to security needs and the hosting provider’s rules.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses browser local storage to remember your theme choice. Session storage may also temporarily retain the page to restore after subscribing to the newsletter.
Third-party services, including Brevo and YouTube, may use their own storage technologies when loaded. You can delete local data and manage cookies through your browser settings.
